And welcome to another offshoot from the main Temple of Din. This is a temporary page which exists to allow "select" users access to two very early, rough & ready "work in progress" versions of the new Walter & the Knobheads track "Functioning Social Alcoholic":

At this point it should also be noted that the footage has, so far, been shot using amongst the worlds worst "HD" video cameras. (technically it's 1080 capable but there's nothing high about the quality of footage it produces) In fact it's low light performance is truly appalling, it's rarely focussed, it fails abysmally at capturing motion, the sound is so distorted it sounds like it's been recorded through a fuzz box and overall it's totally rubbish. Still it was very cheap (20 earth pounds on fleabay) and like us it's cheap and cheerful so we actually quite like it !
It should also be noted that there has been minimal editing performed on the footage so far as it's simply been joined together, sped up and the soundtrack added using the splendid Virtual Dub. At a later date we're going to try using Cinellara to do the job but this will involve a lot of thinking/learning/keeping us out of the pub so it might take a while before we start...
STOP PRESS: Having laughed heartily at our efforts we have now been kindly lent a "proper" video camera by a local celebrity so may well shoot some decent footage and make an effort to do a proper job of things. Then again we may just do what we usually do which is get drunk and talk about it but not actually do anything :)~ Only time will tell !
